Job Summary

Manage a team responsible for the collection and loading of Construction data.  Directly responsible for initiating data collection efforts for Actual Rates and Skilled Nursing data.  Candidate must maintain a regular weekly presence in Annapolis, MD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with external data sources to ensure accurate and timely loading of existing data sources on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. 
  • Coordinate with the Data Principal to ensure efficient onboarding of new data providers.
  • Working with technical resources, develop business rules that allow the transformation of raw data sets into consistent, high-quality data.
  • Hire, develop, and retain qualified personnel to create and maintain ongoing data collection efforts.
  • Provide support to product development and the quality assurance department on an as needed basis to support further data reporting and product needs. 
  • Maintain documentation for data load processes and procedures.

  • A minimum of five years of work experience, including three or more years managing and developing a team of three or more people, with a proven track record of developing talent. 
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, with a technical degree preferred.  Superior analytical, organizational, as well as written and oral skills, and a high level of attention to detail with timely follow-through. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (email and calendar) and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience with data manipulation languages such as SQL, R, or Python is preferred but not required if there is a willingness to add these to current skillset.
  • A commitment to produce consistently high-quality work and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
